Kindly be informed that Armenian Card cjsc has implemented a new service called ArCa Security Pay, in order to increase the security level of card transactions performed via internet.

While performing a transaction by ArCa Cards on the local sites with this security service, for transaction authorization the cardholder must enter the special code sent to him/her by SMS.

When performing an online purchase or other transaction from the local sites with the mentioned security service, the use of SMS service is a mandatory, which is offered by Byblos Bank Armenia cjsc (the Bank) for free of charge (only SMS received through ArCa Security Pay is free of charge).

Thereby, starting from November 16, 2017 the Bank will activate SMS service for ArCa Security Pay service of your card, by using mobile phone provided to the Bank  

In case your mobile phone provided to Bank is currently not valid (e.g. you do not use it anymore), then starting from November 16, 2017 you will not be able to perform online purchases or other transactions from the local sites, which have ArCa Security Pay service, since special code sent to your phone will not be available for you to finalize a transaction. Even if you manage to transact, whenever you apply for chargeback, you will not be able to receive back the paid funds as a result of non-compliance to the security rules mentioned above. Hence kindly o visit one of our branches till November 16, 2017 to provide valid phone number.
