When transferring your salary to Byblos Bank Armenia, you will receive a number of benefits: 0% fee when withdrawing cash from any ATM across Armenia, a free supplementary card, credit line with a 45-day grace period, more favorable credit terms and other benefits. You can use your Byblos Bank Armenia debit Card via ATMs, POS terminals and internet.
You can use your card 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In the event of card loss or suspicion of fraud, cardholders must immediately block the card:
- Via the Online Banking service / Byblos Mobile app
- Via the USSD service
- By visiting one of the branches of the Bank (on weekdays from 9։30 am to 5 pm)
- By calling the Bank at +374 60 61 61 00 (on weekdays from 9 am to 6 pm)
The Bank will not bear responsibility for transactions made with your card prior to notifying the Bank or the processing center.
The USSD service enables cardholders to use their phone in order to perform the following transactions:
- Check the card balance
- Obtain a statement for the last 4-5 transactions
- Block the card
To activate the service, cardholders need to fill in an application at the Bank and provide their phone number. To then use the service, they need to dial *116# and follow instructions.
The service is free for Byblos Bank Armenia cards.
A total of up to 5 payment cards can be attached to a phone number, and transactions mentioned above will be available for each of them.

**In case
the currency of a card transaction differs from the currency of the card
account exchange rate for foreign exchange transaction is set by Byblos
Bank Armenia AMD +/- 1.
***In the event of withdrawing cash via Apple Pay or Google Pay from Inecobank CJSC ATMs and cash outlets, commission is charged according to relevant tariffs set for withdrawals abroad.
****Chargeback complaints must be
provided within at least 15 calendar days from the date of receipt of
the statement. The Bank is also obliged to accept the Cardholder՚s
chargeback requests if transactions, which are not authorized by the
Cardholder, are appealed within 55 calendar days from the receipt of
the statement by the Cardholder, and the Cardholder submits documents
confirming the impossibility of submitting chargeback requests within
15 calendar days upon receipt of statement.

- Overdraft currency: AMD
- Overdraft tenor: from 1 to 12 years
- The Overdraft is provided in the amount of five times the transferred net salary; minimum amount – AMD 400,000, maximum amount – AMD 5,000,000․
- Overdraft arrangement: free of charge
Interest rate: fixed 16% p.a. (14․5% in the event of transferring the salary to Byblos Bank Armenia)
Annual percentage rate: 17.75 - 18.63% (16.72% 17.50% in the event of transferring the salary to Byblos Bank Armenia)
- Overdraft is only processed through Byblos Bank Armenia branches.
- Overdraft is disbursed by non-cash transfer into clients’ card account.
- Overdraft provision is executed within a maximum period of 3 working days from the date of signing the loan contracts by the client at the branch if mandatory documents are provided.
- The repayment of the overdraft facility shall be done with the periodicity of a month; the interest accrued at the date of repayment shall be repaid first then the principal. In case there are penalties, those will be paid first.
- The main factors affecting the decision to approve or reject the loan are as follows:
a- credit history
b- valid justification for the loan purpose
c- accuracy of the information, provided by the borrower
d- solvency of the client (financial position)
e-creditworthiness of the client (personal qualities, absence of any legal impediment).
- Byblos Bank Armenia will provide a decision to the overdraft application within 7 working days.
In case of payment delay, the Bank
will update the Borrower’s profile in the Central Bank of Armenia Credit
Register and Credit Bureaus, which can lead to a negative impact on the
Borrower’s credit history and cause difficulties in the loan obtaining process
in the future.
According to the law of the RA “On Combating against Money Laundering and
Terrorism Financing” the Bank for proper investigation of clients' profile can
obtain additional documents or other information as per Know your
customer-principals, also during verbal communication ask additional questions
from the client (in case of need).
According to an agreement with the United States of America regarding the
Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) - the Bank may request or gather
additional information in order to identify Borrower’s status as a USA
taxpayer.

searching and comparing of services and makes it easy for you to choose which
option is the easiest way for the most efficient option selection.
After signage of the loan contract, you may communicate with the Bank at your
choice by post or e-mail. The most convenient way for information receipt is
the e-mail. It is available 24/7, the risk of information loss is eliminated
and ensures secrecy.
All fees and charges will be debited from the cardholder’s card account in AMD. In case of foreign currency card account, the bank is entitled to exchange the amount due to AMD at the rate established by the bank on the day of the conversion. In case the currency of a card transaction differs from the currency of the card account, the bank shall be entitled to convert the transaction amount into the card account currency at the rate mentioned in the tariffs.
