Byblos Bank Armenia Supports Rony Barrak’s Concert in Armenia

Famous darbouka player and composer Mr. Rony Barrak performed at the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater of Armenia on 12 March, 2014.
This opportunity was brought to the music connoisseurs in Armenia by Byblos Banks Armenia. The audience had an exceptional opportunity to enjoy the exotic music of the famous Lebanese darbouka player.
This time Mr. Rony Barrak proposed a special gift to Armenia. Inspired by his first visit to the country, Mr. Barrak composed a music piece devoted to Armenia. 
During his visit Mr. Rony Barrak made a special appearance also at “Mezzo” club on 11 March.
The musician says Armenian and Arabic cultures share similarities in music. This is why cooperation with Armenian musicians and communication with the audience in Armenia has been easy and enjoyable. Rony experimented also with the Armenian dhol. He is convinced that music is a universal language.
