Byblos Bank Armenia Presented Prospects of Armenian Banking Sector in Lebanon

The Armenian-Lebanese roundtable entitled “New Realities of Armenian Baking System” took place on March 29-31, 2012. The round table brought together leaders of investment banking and business circles from both countries. Headquartered in Lebanon and with presence in Armenia, Byblos Bank is well-positioned to introduce specifics of banking system in Armenia to their Lebanese colleagues, therefore Byblos Bank Armenia CEO, Mr. Ghukasyan was the part of the delegation from Armenia.

During this official visit Mr. Ghukasyan presented Armenia’s financial system and economy to individuals and companies in Lebanon interested in expanding their business and investments in Armenia. Byblos Bank Armenia played this liaising role in the past and managed to bring its valuable input throughout round table discussions as well.

“This was an excellent opportunity to restate to larger Armenian community in Lebanon about Byblos Group’s presence in Armenia and long-term growth plans. We are in Armenia to facilitate trade, commerce and investments between two friendly nations and countries.” noted the Chief Executive Officer of Byblos Bank Armenia.
