NEW BRANCH OF BYBLOS BANK ARMENIA OPENS IN KOMITAS

Yerevan, Armenia, April 18, 2012 - Byblos Bank Armenia (BBA) officially opened a new branch in Komitas district of Yerevan. Komitas branch, the 3rd of BBA in Yerevan, ensures access to banking services for its clients residing in Komitas and neighboring districts. BBA leadership, representatives of Central Bank Armenia and businesses were among the guests at the opening ceremony.
In line with Byblos Group’s policy, BBA Komitas branch is identical to all other Byblos Bank branches in Armenia and abroad, which ensures branch recognition and consistent customer experience.
“Komitas is an important residential and business area with good growth and development potential. We believe Komitas has got an adequate capacity for banking services, hence a decision was made to ensure our permanent presence here.”- said Mr. Palikyan, the Manager of BBA Komitas branch.
Komitas branch continues the 60 years of Byblos Group’s best traditions and offers beneficial products and services to the Bank’s customers and stakeholders.

In 2012 BBA recorded many great successes. In the first quarter the Bank secured steady growth in all directions, including assets, deposits and loans. BBA signed a long- term funding agreement with IFC. In order to expand new services and products the Bank plans to enter into similar agreements with other international organizations as well.
