Fraudulent buyers contact sellers/cardholders on online platforms (list.am) and require the seller to provide the card requisites in order to pay for the product.

The seller/cardholder submits the card requisites (card account number, cardholder name, expiration date, CVV) through a fake link, after which an SMS message is generated and sent to the cardholder for final validation. As a result, counterfeiters have all the information they need to for debiting the whole balance of the cardholder’s account.

Please note that in order to transfer or receive money to the card, one is required to send only the card number (in exceptional cases, also the name of the cardholder.).

We urge you not to provide all card requisites to third parties.
